Daniele graduated with honours in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 1997.
After graduating, Daniele began his training as a patent and trade mark consultant at an intellectual property firm in Bologna, where he qualified as an Italian patent and trade mark consultant and as an accredited representative with the EUIPO.
Since 2009, Daniele has also been a European patent representative at the EPO.
In 2017, he joined the Technical Department of a company based in the Modena area, a leading manufacturer of end-of-line ceramic machinery, where he provided support to the R&D and design departments.
In 2026, after almost ten years’ experience with the company, Daniele decided to return to the world of consultancy, joining the GLP team.
Daniele’s main activities include drafting patent applications and managing their prosecution before national and foreign patent offices, as well as conducting patent searches, preparing validity and infringement opinions for patents, and assisting clients in legal proceedings as a technical expert (CTP). Daniele has also gained experience in trade mark searches and opinions.
Throughout his professional career, Daniele has refined his expertise in many sectors, including the mechanical sector in general, packaging, machinery for the ceramics industry and agricultural machinery in particular, as well as the medical, electrical and electronic sectors.
