Co-managing Partner GLP

Daniele Giovanni Petraz graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan, began his professional career as a patent engineer at one of the leading firms in Vienna, an experience that laid the foundation for his subsequent commitment to the field.

In 1997, he joined GLP Intellectual Property Office and, in 1999, took charge of opening the Milan office. In 2004, he became co-managing partner of GLP Intellectual Property Office, assuming responsibility for financial management and the international department, contributing to the company’s development.

His expertise is evident not only in operational management but also in the strategic consultancy he provides to clients, with particular attention to new product development and the implementation of effective intellectual property protection strategies, blending international experience, technical skills, and managerial vision. He also possesses skills in the analysis and evaluation of intangible IP assets.

As head of the firm’s International Department, he regularly attends conferences and seminars all over the world.

In addition to his daily responsibilities at the company, Daniele Petraz serves as a Director in various companies in Italy and abroad and is a member of the General Council of the Udine branch of the General Confederation of Italian Industry.

He is also a member of AIPPI, INTA, and AIDB, as well as a member of the board and technical committee of the Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
